Welcome to Not Inside the Lines! This is my second blog site, I’m not normal (what the hell is that anyway) and I have multiple sides to me, or maybe that is normal. How many sides do you have? Do you show them all? You should. I decided I really want to be a blogger and my original site had conflicting personalities so I made this site to showcase my furniture makeovers, home projects and crafts. That word, craft, sounds cheesy to me, but they are craft projects-like turning a floor lamp into a hanging pendant. Craft or Project or? 

I’m a tech by day, Principal System Engineer just recently promoted to Sr IT Manager.  I’m really proud of myself and while I like what I do, I enjoy servers and the work I don’t feel like I can ramble on about computers for days, I don’t do anything techy after work I do projects.  I make over my bathroom, redo my bedroom 100 times, I paint things JUST to paint something.  When I’m stressed I have a dance party and then get creative.  Imagine…a life where I wake up, drink my coffee, write a little, and then am oh gosh forced to do a creative project.  I want that to be my reality.  I want a physical junk shop with a space to paint furniture, do projects, invite people in for wine and craft nights.  Sell plants and pastries and have really cool stuff for people to dig through and buy.  

So this is my journey, this is my newest site – I am multifaceted therefore I have my first site mmloveit.com dedicated to my grief journey, positivity and over all life happiness.  This blog is dedicated to my projects – I can’t just say it’s all furniture, or all home makeovers, or just yard work, or just plants it’s Everything – I’m not staying in the lines anymore. We’re all unconventional and that’s ok. Let’s be not inside the lines together.
